Here are my derby posters. I’m about to send them off. True Grit n Glitter and Skaters of the Lost Ark.
I still have to do Skate of the Union and now have to do Dusk till Derby.
I have to just do 3 colors so they can maybe do ‘em in t-shrts.
I don’t know if I really like them. It’s frustrating because I don’t know Illustrator and i know they could be so much better. oh well. They have their graphic artists put on their logo and do the lettering too, so i usually have an idea in my head then they turn out quite a bit different when they are done. Oh well.

I’m calling this finished. New media for me, but the nupastels/conte crayons gives the drawing more ‘punch’ than the colored pencils do, unfortunately I don’t have the color range of the pencils. I might he to invest in a bigger set.
Thanks to all the people (and AMC) that post those awesome pictures that serve as inspiration to me.
I’ve been working on this since before the season ended. I’m not done and will take a real picture of it when I am. I really like religious art and those pre-season photos looked so dramatic they reminded me of Caravaggio paintings. So I’m going to do a series in a classical religious vibe. If that offends I’m not really too sorry. Tv is the new religion anyway, is it not? A little tongue in cheek, yeah but mostly I just like classical religious art so… I have to do some roller derby posters first, but glen is next, then Maggie then probably Rick…
Ok so this is a failure, but I’m posting it anyway. It’s not fair to just post your successes, right?
This is colored pencils, and while those are great for colors, I just don’t think they have the same punch for black and white so I’ll probably redo this in charcoal.
Plus the composition sucks and there is a…error that throws it off.
anywho. On to the next one.

My first colored pencil drawing in 10 + years. I like this media, but the paper I used is a bit rough. I think It was made for nu-pastels.
Bad to the ass.
So got a lead on a place that might be interested in posting/selling some of my “art”. would be a pretty big ego boost for me to actually sell something.
